------------------------------------------------------------------------ v3.1.0 (November 4, 2026) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ WIPE (ERASE SECTORS) - LIVE SETTINGS - The Wipe monitor now has a Live Settings panel with the full erase setup: wipe method, block size, verify after wipe and the after completion power action. - Verify and block size take effect immediately on the drive being wiped. Turning verify off also stops a read-back already in progress. A new wipe method starts with the next drive; the power action is applied when the run finishes. - New block size choice (1, 2, 4 or 8 MB) on the Wipe tab controls how much data is written and checked per step. INTERFACE - Drop-down lists are now dark with light text, so their selected values are easy to read on every tab. IMAGE EXPLORER - Scanned files are now shown as a folder tree. Folders come first and open to show the files inside them, while files that live in the root are listed directly at the root, the same way a normal file preview works. Double-click a folder to open or close it. - The filter expands the matching folders so the results are visible. - Selecting a folder does not include it in Extract Selected; only the files you select are extracted. - The Partitions list now shows all of its columns (Start and Browsing were cut off on narrower windows), and the section titles and column headings are left aligned. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ v3.0.9 (November 3, 2026) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DISK CLONE - CONTINUE AFTER A HANG OR DISCONNECT - Pause & Save button: stop cleanly at any moment and continue later from the exact same sector. - Automatic resume points: Off / 1 / 2 / 5 / 10 / 30 / 60 minutes. - Every resume point is saved twice. The backup copy is written only after the first copy saved successfully, and it is used automatically if the first copy is unreadable. - The Clone area shows the date and time of the last save. - Reconnect the source drive, press RESUME, and already copied sectors are kept. The saved position is checked before any sector is written. - Auto-resume: starting the same clone again continues from its saved point automatically. Turn it off with one checkbox on the Clone tab or in the Live settings. - All copy settings are also available in the Cloning (Live) tab and apply to the running job immediately: block size, auto-save, read retries, ignore bad sectors, verify after copy, stall timeout and the after completion action. - The Live tab lists every saved clone. Use the newest save or pick another one, refresh, delete a save, or press PAUSE & RESUME to pause the current copy and switch to the selected saved clone. The selected target is verified against the saved position before anything is written. SOURCE HEALTH - The Clone tab now shows the condition of the source while it copies: read errors, retries, slow sectors, unreadable areas and stalls. - Clear reasons explain why a clone is slow and whether the drive is failing. S.M.A.R.T. failure prediction is shown when the drive reports it. - A manual "Check source health" test reads timed samples across the whole drive before you start. IMAGE EXPLORER (CLONE TAB) - Open .img, .raw, .dd, split .part001 sets, .vhd and .vhdx images. - Browse partitions and folders, extract selected files or everything, and save a report. - The Image Explorer requires a Clone licence or a Full Suite licence; it is not part of the free trial. - Fixed: images created by other cloning tools, including single-partition images, now open and scan the selected partition. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ v3.0.8 (October 29, 2026) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PARTITION TOOLS - New INITIALIZE DISK: sets up a blank disk with a fresh MBR or GPT table. - New CONVERT: switches a disk between MBR and GPT in place. Every partition keeps its exact position and size. - Unsafe layouts are refused with a plain-language reason, and the previous table is backed up to another disk before anything is written. - Every conversion checks the partition data before and after, so "nothing was touched" is proven, not just claimed. MAC AND LINUX PARTITIONS - Recognises APFS, HFS/HFS+, ext2/3/4, XFS, Btrfs, LVM, ReFS, BitLocker, LUKS, ISO and UDF partitions. - Complete Scan now finds lost macOS and Linux partitions as well as Windows ones. - Rebuilt tables use the correct partition type for each system. - Windows dynamic disks are detected and protected from every table-writing tool. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ v3.0.7 (October 29, 2026) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ VIDEO REPAIRING LAB - More cameras supported: Sony XAVC / XAVC S, Canon XF-AVC / EOS, Nikon Z, Panasonic LUMIX and Fujifilm. - Long recordings over 512 MB are now scanned completely. - Truncated MP4 files recover all remaining frames. - Cinematic RAW formats (Nikon N-RAW, Canon Cinema RAW Light, RED, Blackmagic, ARRI) are recognised and recovered as-is. - Files that cannot be repaired are reported clearly instead of showing a false result. DISK CLONE - Bad sectors are isolated down to 4 KB, so surrounding data is kept. - A drive that drops offline stops the job instead of filling the rest with zeros. - Every bad area is listed in a report next to the image.
